Meet Ms. Melita, an inspiring Pre-K educator with a heart for nurturing young minds and cultivating a love for learning. With a foundation rooted in Christian values, Ms. Melita brings warmth, compassion, and patience to the classroom every day. Her belief in the importance of fostering strong, positive relationships with each child allows her to create a safe and supportive environment where children feel valued and encouraged to grow.

Raised on a farm, she has always had a deep connection to nature and the simple, powerful lessons it teaches. From the wonder of watching plants grow to the responsibility of caring for animals, she infuses her classroom with the same hands-on learning experiences she experienced as a child. Her approach to teaching incorporates the beauty of nature, encouraging her students to explore, discover, and develop a strong sense of wonder.

With 20 plus years of experience teaching grades one through four, Ms. Jacqueline has had the honor of guiding young minds and inspiring a lifelong love of learning. Holding a master's degree in Elementary Education, she combines both expertise and a heartfelt dedication to supporting her students' intellectual and emotional development.

A strong Christian faith fuels her approach to teaching, and she believes in nurturing the whole child. She is committed to instilling values of kindness, respect, and compassion, while also fostering a love for learning. For Ms. Jacqueline, education goes beyond academics—it's about shaping character and encouraging students to think critically, act with kindness, and face challenges with strength and resilience.

Her warm and nurturing presence creates a classroom where every student feels valued, empowered, and ready to succeed. Whether guiding them through lessons or offering encouragement in times of need, Ms. Jacqueline approaches each day with patience, grace, and a genuine passion for helping her students grow both academically and personally.

Introducing Ms. Taylor, a dynamic teacher of ten years. Ms. Taylor brings a wealth of knowledge, joy, and leadership to her classroom. Ms. Taylor started her teaching journey at the Bridgestone Environmental Classroom and Habitat (BEECH) working with public, private, and homeschool students. Currently, she has been a first grade teacher at Morrison Elementary.

   Ms. Taylor was raised, and still resides with her husband and two children, on her family's multi-generation farm. Her experience on the farm and at BEECH gives her a unique perspective on teaching life skills and nurturing a sense of wonder in her students.

A natural leader,  she is well-versed in curriculum design and excels in creating engaging, hands-on lessons that inspire curiosity and foster a love for learning. Whether it’s through reading, math, science, or social studies, her lessons are thoughtfully crafted to challenge and support each child’s individual learning needs. Her ability to differentiate instruction ensures that all students have the opportunity to succeed and reach their full potential. She integrates faith-based values into her classroom, fostering an environment of kindness, respect, and encouragement. She strives to create a space where each student can  be loved, grow academically, have confidence, and  grow spiritually.

 Ms. Camryn has always had a heart for children and education. Her journey began in high school, spending summers working with children with disabilities in Franklin, TN—a commitment she continued through college. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Western Kentucky University and went on to work in special education as an Educational Assistant in Williamson County Schools while also teaching dance.

After marrying her husband, Ms. Camryn served as a job coach for adults with disabilities in Franklin for ten years. Upon relocating, she spent over a decade nurturing students at Paula’s Dance Academy. In 2020, she joined a local elementary school as an EA, working closely with Ms. Jacqueline and Ms. Taylor. Now, she is excited to be part of the Orchard Grove family and to share the love of Christ with our students.

 Shauna graduated from the University of California, Irvine, with a degree in Psychology and Social Behavior and has spent many years working with and encouraging students of all ages. After working as a behavioral therapist for a child with autism, she later moved and served as a high school college advisor, helping students navigate college applications and financial aid while building meaningful relationships with them along the way.

Shauna and her husband have three daughters. Orchard Grove has truly changed their oldest daughter's life and helped bring her out of her shell, and Shauna is deeply grateful for the love, encouragement, and Christ-centered environment the school provides. Seeing the transformation in her own daughter has made her especially excited to help other children grow not only academically, but also in their faith and confidence. Their youngest daughter will be joining Orchard Grove, and their middle daughter attends another school where she receives special education services.

Shauna has been a stay-at-home mom for the past few years and is thrilled to return to work in a role that feels like such a blessing for their family. She hopes to create a classroom environment where every child feels safe, loved, encouraged, and excited to learn. She believes every child learns differently and deserves patience, understanding, and support as they grow. 

Meagan Harris holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Middle Tennessee State University. For the past eight years, she has taught in public education, primarily focusing on 4th and 5th grade math, science, and social studies. Meagan is passionate about helping students grow academically and personally while creating meaningful learning experiences that build confidence and curiosity.

Outside of the classroom, Meagan enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, and cheering on the Atlanta Braves. She is excited to begin this new journey in a Christ-centered learning environment and looks forward to combining her love for education and faith in a meaningful new way.
